Re: Basic Start Date & Basic End Date in PM order

Sanjay,

It does impact the start/end dates in a notification, but not in an order.

You'll need to use user-exit IWO10012 via transaction SMOD/COMD.

Re: generate a Work Flow for Quality check after order finished?

SAlly,

Is there only one equipment on the order, or are you using the Object List too??

If there is only one equipment, then you could set a user-status. A batch program would then run periodically to search for these order with the user-status and create the relevant QM documents.

Re: generate a Work Flow for Quality check after order finished?

Sally,

How in the SAP system would you define this equipment as requiring a quality check?

Re: Authorization checks for Maintenance Strategies

Fernando,

IP11 is normally severely restricted to as fewer users as possible - sometimes only via a global centre of excellence..

The only real way to check this is to determine what data was changed at SAVE, then determine if that user is authorised to change that data.

Re: PM Orders - Equipment

Lee

The standard Object Info popup displays the last order, and you can configure it to count how many orders were created for a given period.

There are also user-exits for Object Info, see transaction SMOD and search for BG*

Re: Reported by in Notification defaulted as Creator?

Sally,

You'll need to develop a solution using either one of the following:
- QQMA0025: Default values when adding a notification
- QQMA0014: Checks before saving a notification

Re: Object List in Cycle Notification

KF

A notification doesn't have an object list like an order.

So it makes sense for the maintenance item not to have an object list either.

You could develop a solution on the maintenance item and notification via user-exits.

Re: Equipment Sort Field

Other options are:
- Use classification
- Use user-exit ITOB0001 to create your own customer-specific screen/field

Re: Equipment Sort Field

Its not possible to add a drop-down option on this field - its free-text only.

You could validate the data entered at SAVE via user-exit IEQM0003 (see transaction SMOD)
