Hi Al.

Lock a field in material master from change

Hi all, I have a requirement to protect the field MARC-SERNP 'Serial number profile', found within the material master data 'Sales General/Plant' and 'Plant data / stor.2' tabs, from being changed by all but two employees. I cannot decide how to best approach this - I can see how I could restrict ch...

Referencing a production order when creating a new one

Hi gurus, Hopefully, a simple question for some of you... We have a long-established production order that was created using txn CO07 (without reference to material) in Plant A. I need to create an exact copy of this order, but in Plant B. I enter the necessary info into CO07 and enter the reference...

Re: CSV output from ME38/ME9E

Hi everybody,

Do I assume that nobody has any suggestions? Maybe it's not possible then and perhaps this is why I've hit a brick wall trying to do this?

Cheers all

Re: Shared directories

In actual fact, and for information, we found a couple of ways to resolve this - 1) We created an attachment list against a sub-order operation to attach the Word document (in this case, this was a 'Repair Schedule') , and 2), we were able to attach the same Word document to a general task list via ...

Shared directories

Dear all,

Please could someone direct me on how/where to locate a MS Word document into a shared directory in SAP which we intend adding as an attachment to operations in general task lists, i.e. a directory that SAP and all users will be able to 'see'?

Thanks in advance!

Supplier/vendor spend analysis

Dear all,
Does anyone know of a vendor/supplier spend report in SAP where I can compare two specified periods (e.g. Jan-Mar 2010 vs Jan-Mar 2009) to show supplier spend for those periods?? I've searched for one but not been successful.

Any help would be gratefully accepted. Thanks in advance!

Service order type

I have a repair order (bespoke order type YAW) defined from which, when I create the repair service order via VA02, an order type of YSM3 for the repair service order is somehow automatically selected. Can someone please tell me where in config this is controlled?

Thanks in advance!
