Re: Check date need to change for few holidays

There is no way your going to get away with 2 payroll areas for 29 countries, i'll give you 2 reason to start: - Fiscal or Financial years are different in certain countries unless your 29 countries all have the same fiscal year period? highly doubt. - Due to localised public holidays, if you want t...

Re: ESS WDA CATS semi-monthly view

Badi is your only option, go through the IMG for CATS, there are plenty of badi's listed. Otherwise try weekly and in the 'Periods' field try 2.

Need more information, are you using time evaluation to generate these payments? have you looked in the log for shifts that are paying then comparing to the shifts that aren't?

Re: Public Holiday for Shift EEs

Either configure a different holiday calendar and have your shift employees in a different grouping there by using the different calendar. Other option is to implement the New Zealand substitution note, allowing you to override the public holiday on a substitution infotype record. Good for once off'...

Re: CATS Approval through UWL (Portal)

You should be able to use on of the standard reports for approvals in the portal, so that your project managers can approve times for her/his project without being the direct line manager.

Re: Status time-delimited

The field itself isn't, uses the infotype dates.

With the report you ran, what selection date did you use - if the employee is inactive in future then running a report for the current date should report them as active.

Re: Absence Quota deduction for Substitution done on a holiday

I take it you have the public holiday calendar field hidden on IT2003, trying enabling that field. Failing that New Zealand had a notes released that implemented a public holiday class field on the substitution infotype itself. I have implemented the notes for an Australian customer and it works gre...

Yes you can create a worklist via enhancement. Just remember that worklists are not available when CATS is configured to enter time for multiple employees.

Re: HR System Landscape-Is my company unique

While not on US payroll, had a customer here in Aus on 4.7 2 years ago similar situation - short answer is upgrade (apply support packages) otherwise SAP does not have to support you. I think your company needs to reexamine the license agreement they signed when they bought the SAP software - and ho...
