Re: Long term characteristic : limit for result recording ?

Hi

You might have found out already, but I checked in our test system and it was no problem to enter results for Long-Term Char 3 years after UD.

Re: Inspection lot for customer returns

Hi If I remember correctly we used Insp.type 05 for this with an old customer. Unfortunately I don't have access to the system anymore. Stock went automatically to QI and an insp.lot was created when stock was transferred from Returns to Own. Don't think I've ever got the 06 to work properly. Regard...

Re: Reversal of goods movements from UD

Hi

Not been much into QM for the last couple of years, but unless there's been some changes you can't reverse goods movements done through UD.

Only posibility is to implement a note, which isn't recommended.

Have to Force closing of Skip characteristics.

Hi It's been ages since the last time I was in here, and I see activity is low, but I'll make a try. My customer claims that every now and then they have to force closing of MIC's even if they have status 4 - Skip. I've tried several times, but I'm not able to reproduce the error. The system is set ...

Recipe management authorization

Hi I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I'll try. We're running recipe management and have for some years. Our previous expert retired some time ago and now we've gotten a challenge that we're struggling with. Customer wants to limit down the number of users that can make a substance of a sp...

WF-event in Q-notification task

Hi I have to trigger a WF-event when the deadline is changed in a notification. It works fine if it's on the notification level but I struggle when trying to trigger for the task. When I check I find that it looks like the change docs are of type MELDUNG, but it seems it's only compatible with QMEL ...

Re: Segregating PFCG role

Up until resently I'd say that it's object S_USER_AGR. Assign Activity 22 to the one assigning and Activity 01 & 02 to the one creating/changing. BUT lately I've had a siuation in two of my systems where it requires change access to assign roles. I believe it must be an error by SAP. Haven't had the...

CoA for insp.point based IPC

Hi I'm going to make CoA for a material based on an in-process inspection lot. We use freely defined insp.point, and the insp.point is set ut so that during UD I see the average of the insp.points, thus if I do two insp.points (5 parallells) with avg values 70 & 72 I see the value 71 when doing UD. ...

Complex sample drawing

Hi I've got an issue with a sample drawing. It's for some agricultural product. At GR a number of 20 kg samples are drawn based on the size of the delivery. That can be fixed using sample drawing procedure and sampling scheme. Then the samples are sorted and those too small or large removed, thus th...

Time dependent limit.

Hi I've stumble onto something I've never seen before. We're recieving some agricultural product and for some reason the approved minimum size is < 35 mm until week 35 and then < 38 after that. They want to register the amont that is 'too small'. To me it looks like I have to operate with two MIC's ...

Re: Certificate of Compliance

You need to make a separate layout set containing info of what you want in the certificate.

Then use it in the CoA profile and create the certificate the ordinary way using VL71/QC20.

Re: CWBQM QM Engineering Workbench

You need to use CWBQM if you're doing stability studies.

I agree with Donk, CWBQM isn't intuitive, so I'd give it only to users that have been thoroughly trained.

Re: Avoid Results Recording and UD for one Sloc in a Plant

As long as you've got two different vendors you should be able to fix it using QM info record.

In the info record you can specify 'No inspection' for material M / vendor 1 and 'Inspection active' for material M / vendor 2.

Re: quality certificate in QC20 issue

Hi As far as I know, having batch at plant level, means that you don't 'bring along' batch data if doing a plant-to-plant. Personally I don't see the point in having it at plant level instead of material, but then there's a lot I don't understand. :) Also, even if you didn't say, I suppose you're us...
