Master's Degree

Is it worth to get a Master's Degree in Information technology these days? I've been thinking about getting one lately. Haven't really researched universities or their curriculum yet Considering I'm 26, with exclusive experience in ABAP programming, would it be a bad decision to get one? People usua...

Re: Consultants - How do you dress for an interview?

I have gone for two interviews in the past year wearing old jeans, a scruffy beard, barely combed hair and looking doped after a night of bad sleep.

I got the two jobs, but they asked me what the hell was I thinking :?
Maybe I must thank my rate...

Re: Has this country become just too PC.

But we have no racial fights, at least versus hispanics. Heh... ironically, the people you define as "hispanics" are south-americans (there is America south of the USofA, did you know? :P). Oh please. What about the series of attacks two years ago that got a lot of press attention? Like the Ecuator...

Re: SDN in SANTA mode

Hmmm.. and why should I help them out? Last time I got "recognized" I got some lousy little key chain. My wife had a good laugh over that when it arrived in the mail!!! Now if they allowed us to have the UN food bank funds go to the United Way approved non-profit of our choice I would be very happy...

Re: Is there such a word as 'Funnest'?.

Hold on. I'm pretty sure I've hear (read, I suppose, as I never speak English) the word "funniest" used as "the most fun". I supposed it came from "funny". Ridiculouest. Like in America's Funniest Home Videos Well, every language has words that are heavily used each day but the word or the alternat...

Re: Help a nigga or destroy a brother?

Dude, to be honest I do not see where do you see racism. I really understand the feeling of anger you must be feeling (because as you said, your personal background doesn't sound as the most privileged one) and that is ok, but you really need to let that out. Its common after a hard climbing to the ...

I'm not foolish to believe anti-semitism doesn't exists (and I do believe Spain's numbers), but I don't really believe something coming from the Anti-Defamation League, in the past they have manipulated data to paint the anti-Zionism movement as completely anti-semitic and are prominent in attacking...

Re: field-symbols get referenced fieldname

w_data is your structure, you need to use this class DATA: struct TYPE REF TO cl_abap_structdescr. struct ?= cl_abap_typedescr=>describe_by_data( w_data ). Now in struct->components there is a table with the fieldnames of the structure. The sy-index in assign structure is the same index in the table...

Re: Tab delimited file with header

At least in 4.6C Gui_download doesn't have a headers table.

My suggestion would be the same if you want to do it in the application server, first transfer the header line and then transfer the other table.
