Re: Transfering ABAP source code from one system to another

Hello, We are in a situation where there are objects being transferred both ways. Two companies, one bought the other, but R3 systems are still separate. Each group of users sees something interesting on other system. So there are several ways to do this: - SAPlink - copy/paste -download/upload (doe...

Re: MV45AFZZ best practice

Personally I like the idea of implicit enhancements. But this is best used when the standard include is empty and implicit enhancement is the standard used. The advantages: - developments are completely independent. - Each will have its container; no bottleneck because of locked object. - Each enhan...

Try using the option MESSAGE. You may obtain useful information from the operating system as to why there is a problem.

Re: Convert Spool file to local PDF in ver3.1i

Hi,

One solution is to set CutePDFwriter (or the like) as default printer on you PC then print to LOCL.
You may want to look through OSS on the subject. I vaguely remember a ZPDF driver that is available for download.

Re: BAPI_PO_CREATE1 and condition price update

I just found the solution. Look at Badi ME_DEFINE_CALCTYPE. It is possible to set the value of CALCTYPE to what you want there. (method DEFINE_CALCTYPE) So in the method I did the following: method IF_EX_ME_DEFINE_CALCTYPE~DEFINE_CALCTYPE. CH_X_LF_CALCTYPE = 'B'. endmethod. You can set Calctype to w...

BAPI_PO_CREATE1 and condition price update [SOLVED]

Hello all, I am creating and modifying purchase orders via BAPI_PO_CREATE1 and BAPI_PO_CHANGE. After some tests I had been told users were forced to enter in modification and manually update prices (the "Update" button below item details) to make conditions show up on the PO. I found a parameter tha...

Re: BAPI_PO_CREATE1 No account assignment exist for service line

Hello,

It may not be related but I see you do not add to POCOND and POCONDX where you specify conditions. You may not have any, but there may be at least a PB00, no?
I had a different problem (net price = 0 error), but what you get may be a consequence.

Re: Performance Issues in JOIN Tables

You might also want to find the right balance between full out joins and repeated SELECT INTO TABLE combined with FOR ALL ENTRIES.
But do a ST05 or ST12 to see the system's analysis of your select.

Function module without commit writes to DB

I may be missing something (not first time), but I created a function module to update some tables without a commit. I want control in the calling application. When tested in a little program all is well: both commit and rollback work as desired. But in SE37 test, even without a commit, the module w...

Re: Upgrade to ECC6.0 - what to check

On a recent project we went from 47 to ECC6. I did a lot of research, made lists of objects and we checked everything. Keep in mind that there is more than z* objects (RV* for ex) In the end, we did not have a lot of problems. - We discovered enhancements and a switch gave us some trouble. - a coupl...

Customizing table creates workbench request [SOLVED]

Hello, I have created a ztable as delivery type C. I have added data to it and this has created a customizing request. I have tried again this morning and it wants a workbench request. I have recently added two fields to it and regenerated the maintenance dialog but nothing else. Are there other par...

Re: How to translate an excel macro(Subtotaling) to ABAP code

Hi, So you have an ALV that you export to excel and you want it to keep sort order and totals/subtotals. The coding for this is actually putting the right info in some structures that you pass to REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY. IT_FIELDCAT-DO_SUM = X for the column you want totalled. IT_SORT in which you id...

I am not sure and don't have the time to check but I think that the import and export structure must have the same name.
