Re: Preventing customers from ordering materials

It's one or the other.
If you create an inclusion list you have to include all materials the customer can buy, anything not in that list is excluded.

Vice-versa with exclusion, they can buy anything except what's in the list.

I don't know of anything else in SAP standard.

Re: Prevent an order number from showing at VF04

"No Docs with billing block" is your key. Even though these show in VF04, if you try to create one it's going error.

See if you don't check that, then the system shows documents with a billing block, and, um, well, just delete the darn thing and don't worry about anything else here :-)

Re: Sap Salaries

I have recently set up a website to collect the salaries of Human Resources professional's.
If you could post yours, just to help get the site started, of course, that would be just swell..

http://www.HRSalaries-revealed.com

There is only a minor, nominal fee to sign up.

I print tags from SAP, but I am going on 3 weeks vacation and won't be able to tell you how until I get back. I hope you still have a job by then.

It can be negative, that's in the definition of the condition type, but you may need to provide more detail here.

Re: Condition with scale

So if I order 20each, I get 100 discount for the first 10, and 250discount for the second 10?

You might want to check with your client that this is what they really want.

Usually the if I order 20each, I get the 250 discount for all 20. At least in all the businesses I've been involved in.

Re: Variant config. initial values

Here's another nifty VC syntax.
To raise a value to a Power (ala the ^ character in math)
VC uses the ** character(s)

$self.Factor = 0.0225 ** ($self.width - $self.length)

in case anyone needs to use that functionality

Re: Output determination settings

Yes Option 3 will create the output in the transaction, but it will stay in "yellow" status.
The "Send with Application own transaction" means SAP set's up the output for you, then *you* tie that to a Z-program, batch job, to actually grab the output and process it how you see fit.

Re: How to manage customer inventory

You also may want to look at SAP "Product Allocations" do a Google search for this and the document(s) will give you a good idea of how it works.
Unlike consignment, it doesn't "move" inventory to customer stock, it "reserves" stock (or to-be stock) for a customer so no one else can steal it.
