Re: guixt scripts

Hi For a start you haven't got any ELSE or ENDIF statements - I'm not sure if that would cause this not work but I get that right first ( http://www.synactive.com/docu_e/doc_if.html ). Also you need to make sure that the text appearing on the Tabs is exactly as you have entered in the script i.e. "S...

Re: SE16 on steroids?

I might have missed something but don't the SAP Query tools (SQVI, SQ01 etc) do pretty much all of this? I don't use them that much and our organisation isn't very hot on authorisations so might be wrong.

Edit: Sorry just realised how old this post was

Re: Select not returning expected rows

Gothmog, you are a star! That's exactly what it is - I've changed the value of the quantity field so they're different and now it works. I just need to add POSNR to the select to fix it properly. I had no idea FOR ALL ENTRIES did that and it didn't even occur to me to check the help (I normally do, ...

[RESOLVED] Select not returning expected rows

Hi All I wonder if anyone can spot anything wrong with the following select statement or at least give me a clue on how I might work out why its not working!! SELECT vakpa~vbeln vakpa~auart vbap~matnr vbap~zmeng FROM vakpa INNER JOIN vbap ON vakpa~vbeln = vbap~vbeln INNER JOIN vbkd ON vbkd~vbeln = v...

Re: SAPScript/SmartForm Output to PDF (Pop up PDF)

Hi I don't know for sure if this will work for a PDF but it might be worth a shot. Take a look at method EXECUTE in class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES. We use this to open an Excel file after it has been created. You specify the document path and name as an export parameter and the method then attempts ...

Re: New Game, Wish with a twist

Granted - The Labour party ceases to exist but the current administration makes things even worse. The Government falls but without a credible alternative the country descends into anarchy and the British economy also ceases to exist. The rest of the world doesn't notice. I wish that Engalnd can bea...

Re: No archive exist for output

Hi Carlos We've got a bespoke Smartform/print program that does the same. This is because there are scenarios where the print program might not call the Smartform function module but does not change the return code to an error. Consequently in the document the output appears as successful even thoug...

Re: Multiple trays in printer - usage in printing cheques

Hi Note to Mods, could this be mirrored in the SAPscript/Smartform forum? How are these being produced i.e. is it SAPscript or Smartform? I'm not so sure about how to do it in a SAPScript but in Smartforms each page can print from a specified printer tray. This is defined on the Output Options tab (...

Re: CALL_FUNCTION_UC_STRUCT in PRGN_STRU_SAVE_NODES

Hi Fish Try looking at the PRGN_STRU_SAVE_NODES function module in SE37 and note the type that SRC_AGR_TIME has been defined as. Then back in the program define a new variable of that type and assign the value 'X' to it. Then use the variable rather than the 'X' literal in the function call. Hope al...

Re: Digital Signed pdf document

Hi I'm not sure I understand your question. You say the letter will be a printed smartform that will be sent by standard mail - you then talk about a digitally signed PDF. Do you mean a PDF copy of the letter also needs to be created? What happens with the PDF? - does it then get emailed to the cust...

Re: display two messages from bal_t_msg on popup screen

Hi Baz

Unless I've completely misuderstood what you're trying to do, these two popup FMs might meet your needs:
POPUP_TO_INFORM
POPUP_TO_CONFIRM_STEP

I don't think either of them will display an icon for you although its not something I've tried...

Hope that helps.

Re: left outer join query (in SQVI)

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear either! Just do it like you would for a normal selection option on the query selection screen ie on the inclusive single vals tab enter LA on one line and on the second select the '=' sign and leave the value blank.

Re: left outer join query (in SQVI)

Hi The reason you are not getting results with EKES-EBTYP <> "LA" is because you are specifically requesting those lines where EKES-EBTYP = "LA". :) I think you have mis-understood what a left outer join does. It will return all rows from the left hand table that match your selection criteria even i...

Re: Manually maintain condition, despite having access sequence

If I understand correctly the Manual flag is already unchecked? Will you be wanting to save the document with the 0 value or is it just to do the 'leg work' so that the user only needs to enter the value? If it's the latter then our system does this by having the Mandatory flag checked. Of course, t...
