Re: Where are they now....

I'm still here,, having taken a perm role close to home (perm choices here are limited to 1, so it's either suck it up, relocate or return to contracting). There's nothing to make one feel old than googling a SAP problem and finding I asked the same question in 2001. I'm forgetting what I have forgo...

[RESOLVED] Issue Copying Purchase Requisition Price Onto PO

We have configuration so that we copy the price from PRs onto our POs. It "works" but we have identified the following problem. Scenario 1. Create a PR for an item priced £100 2. Create a PO with reference to the PR, item is priced at £100. 3. Save the PO. ...later we agree a price change... 4. Amen...

The Cricket World Cup 2015

Yay, another chance for the English (and Welsh) to humiliate themselves (ourselves) on the world stage, and thus far they (we) have seized the opportunity with both hands.

Impressive win for Ireland. And a big win for India over Pakistan.

What time's tea?

You're a good man.

I have ordered eight PC's, some decent speakers, and Ron Jeremy's greatest hits.

Plus these ear plug:

General Waffle with embedded Excel query

I'm quiet, me. I tiptoe about in my B&B so as not to disturb anyone, but I have realised this is counterproductive as it leads other residents to suppose the dividing walls are like granite when in fact they are like paper. So my consideration is rewarded by various gits having loud phone calls at 2...

Re: Making the case for the Dark Side

Oh. And for the record I'm still here doing the same old....

I was invited to final interview, told them I couldn't make that particular date, then while waiting to hear back from my agent she rang to say I was no longer being considered.

For the best, methinks, for both them and me.

Re: UK Agency Advise : Progressive

My beef with Progressive is they periodically request feedback asking if the job roles they email me are applicable to me. They're invariably not. I take the time to tell them this, explaining my reasons why, but they continue sending the irrelevant job ads. If they don't plan on acting on the feedb...

I suspect this has happened to me though I have learned to fight the paranoia. I just let it go and move on.

Re: REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY issues

Checkboxes indeed were the answer. So thank you for that.

The suppression of (or more specifically the non-showing of) duplicate keys - once they were told it seemed not to be an option - seemed not to matter to them.

Your help has been greatly appreciated.

Re: REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY issues

Thanks. How do you retain this stuff? I can barely remember my own name these days. Just before I hit Google to learn more about IS_VARIANT I will respond to your refresh question: I tried inserting a POPULATE_TAB statement immediately following my hotspot processing, so the table is as I want it at...

REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY issues

A bit embarrassing, this. Hopefully I can bypass the "Why are you using this antique?" questions as well as the scornful "There are hundreds of threads out there" quips. I have been instructed not to switch to a class-based solution, and I have searched unsuccessfully for answers until I reached th...
