Did you check the monitor for details (how many new records and how many updated)? Perhaps the data fits existing SIDS and gets overwritten?

Heard this one before?

After numerous rounds of "We don't even know if Osama is still alive," Osama himself decided to send George Bush a letter in his own Handwriting to let him know he was still in the game. Bush opened the letter and it appeared to contain a single line of coded message: 370HSSV-0773H . Bush was baffle...

A visit to the mental asylum

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director, "What is the criterion that defines a patient to be institutionalized?" "Well..." said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, and offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask them to empty the bathtub." 1. Would you ...

Talking of the pig ....

If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee. (Hardly seems worth it.) If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb. (Now that's more like it!) The human hea...

In SM37, look for the job in 'Released' Status. Change it to 'scheduled' from the menu options. Then in job control, if both start date and print parameters are green, just go into any one of them and come out w/o making any changes, so that it becomes red. The second step may not be necessary, beca...

Try using sequential updates instead of parallel updates. That's all I can say, in the absence of error message details (error #, long text etc.)

You can see 0dat in the variable view (used to be RSZV), V_RSZGLOBV. It is not an InfoObject.

I don't see any reason why it should not get populated. Have you done the setup in the normal way and also scheduled the deltas? I can see values even in our BW development client, which is normally bereft of any useful data. Check your transfer rules to see if the field is properly mapped, and upda...

One general rule of thumb is, if the datasource has fields with high cardinality (atomic level), the it makes sense to bring the data into an ODS, and then summarize it up into a cube.

I don't know of any table that directs one to use an ODS or otherwise.
