Absence type which sends email/letter - ESS/Fiori
Hi, The business wants SAP to create an email or letter (Smartform) to send if employees pick a particular absence type in Fiori so that they can be made aware of the effect on pension and make arrangements to pay the shortfall. Any ideas as to where I'd start looking to do something like this, plea...

Re: Quota generated in hours
Hi, We generate all our absence quotas in hours as it makes it easier to deal with the large number of accurate work schedules in place as over half our employees are part-time. I'm not aware of any particular disadvantages - the main advantage for us is we only have to create the one quota type for...

Re: Wage Type Permissibility Query- V_511_B
Hi,
According to notes I made many years ago, if you need to amend permissibilities in V_511_B from a future or particular date, first delimit the entry in V_T511, ie create a copy of the existing entry from the date you require. I hope this still applies - worth a try?

Sleepyjoe

Re: China bank account Infotype 9
Hi, Just in case anybody out there still has this problem, look at table T521A. The field may be marked as not relevant for your country. I can't take any credit for this - thank Vincent (http://sap.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/sap-hr/p0009bkref-reference-specifications-for-ban-3738972)...

Use of P0014-ZUORD
Hi, Bit of a long shot as better people than me have tried to find an answer to the following problem and haven't yet found any advice. We have a requirement to use P0014-ZUORD as a key to find entries on IT0014 and make changes to them. The documentation says that this is a SAP supplied field but t...

Re: LGPS:T5GPBSP_UNP entry missing
Hi Dvnr, This message is displayed if there isn't a earnings band in the table which covers the salary quoted in the message. In this case, if it is a genuine LGPS scheme (UK Public Sector pensions) the entry should be similar to the following which applies to the Local Government scheme. Pen. Schm ...

Re: Unique employee reference number
Hi Lulu,
What about the technical person number (also known as Central person)? You can see this in SE16, table HRP1001, if you select relationship A209. Type of related object in the output will be CP and ID of related object will be the unique number.
Regards,
Sleepyjoe

Re: Recoverable SMP at 103% instead of 92%
Hi, We have a couple of personnel calculation rules using our own constants (SAP provided constants, eg SMPCS and SMPRS, but they aren't accurate enough) and we calculate 3%, 100% and 103% values for posting, payroll journal and EOY purposes. Our 'private' customers have their own payroll area so we...

Re: Payslip ( Feature ADDRS)
Hi Pallavi, 2/1 means it will look for address subtype 2 first and show that on the payslip but if subtype 2 doesn't exist, it will use subtype 1. If you have more than one type of payslip, you can use different address types for each one if you prefer. Tree view of feature would be based on the fol...

Re: PE51 - Show Tax Code (UK) for Zero Tax
Hi,
You're absolutely right - I was over-complicating the issue and all I needed to do was break the line down into its component parts and have them in single fields instead of a window. I was slowly getting there but you speeded the journey up considerably!
Many thanks,
Sleepyjoe

Hi Victoria,
Have you tried clicking on the hit list before executing the report? Our users reported a similar problem after we applied SPs 66 to 70 on ECC6 but our work instructions always advised doing this anyway so we've never really pursued it with SAP.

Sleepyjoe

PE51 - Show Tax Code (UK) for Zero Tax
Hi, We currently have payslips configured so that tax deductions appear in the following format with amount in a separate column: Tax Paid Tax Code Tax Basis ¦ Amount so typical entry would be Tax Paid 1240L WK1 ¦ 100.30 ¦ = start of new column When tax paid (/501) doesn't exist, the line doesn't...

Re: P60 Decimal Places
Hi, If you're talking about the NI fields, if I remember rightly, these are whole pounds only, hence just the pound sign above each field and not the pounds and pence signs which you get on some other fields. I'm pretty sure it used to say this on the pre-printed stationery but it now only seems to ...
