Re: End Use

Hi Michele

I can't give you a definitive answer on this, but I would suggest that if I was implementing the SAP GTS industry solution, then I would expect all the relevant fields to become available on installation so that I could use it in the way they designed it

Picking Remaining Percentage of SLED (WM)

Hello everybody, I have an unusual request from the business, but I feel sure somebody might have come across this before because there are few scenarios totally unique. We have a number of Warehouses. Each warehouse is maintained with storage types using a mixture of removal strategies (F, H and P ...

PO Release Strategy Stopped Working (WORKING)

I have an issue with PO release strategies and it's got me baffled. Nobody I've discussed it with so far has been able to help, and trawling through here hasn't shed any light either. Here's the background ... I created a release strategy by copying from an existing strategy, but using a new Release...

BoM Validity Date Range (To)

Hi all, This used to be my favourite place to pop in for a mooch around for help and advice, but it looks very slow in here now But that doesn't mean you can't help - in fact I'll wager somebody has asked this before, but I just couldn't come up with the right combination of search parameters to fin...

Re: Error while creating info record and PO.

I always think it's useful to know how to investigate an error As a newbie, a good place to start investigating an error is to note the reference message number generated within the error message. The first port of call after doing this is to google the error message. If this fails, then search the ...

Re: Multiple PO Output Triggers

Something of an anti climax with this one. I came into work today and it had self healed.
In a way this is a good thing (e.g. I'd been doing it correctly all along) but it's quite puzzling not knowing what caused it to fail yesterday.

Multiple PO Output Triggers [RESOLVED]

Hi all, I've been scratching my head over this one for hours now and the solution is no nearer. We are using standard NEU PO output for printing, but we also have PO output ZEDI I am trying to trigger both of them from the same access sequence (0003: CoCode/POrg/Doc Type/PGrp), both with the same im...

Re: Purchase Req: Add NCM Field for Brazil

Hmm. I applied the SAP note and it works up to a point. It will do what I expected it to do but it isn't possible to convert a correctly updated Purchase Requisition to a Purchase Order using transaction ME57 as the NCM code is not carried over. It does work for other transactions but apparently thi...

Re: Stock in Transit (Plant)

Well I'm not 100% sure on how to adjust stock in transit, but off the top of my head I would suggest the most thorough method would be to either complete the transaction and write the stock off at the target location, or reverse it back to the source location and write it off there if possible (assu...

In case anybody is interested, I think I have the answer to this now

Purchase Req: Add NCM Field for Brazil

Hello all, Another Friday afternoon head-scratcher to think about (they must save them up during the week!) We are currently using the Brazilian PO tab in our Purchase orders, which includes the NCM input field (J_1BNBM). The users have asked for this field to also be made available in the Purchase ...

Re: WM Prog RLREOLPQ in Batch

Just in case anybody has been wondering how this turned out; I never did find an explanation for why this needed to be run as a background job. However, I made the decision to follow the suggestion from SAP and ran each warehouse variant of this in batch, with immediate processing selected. My reaso...

Re: How times have changed...

I watched It's A Wonderful Life last week and was bemused at all those folks that were supposed to be under the age of 30 that dressed like old men/women. Kids seemed to go straight from being a child into being a miniature adult. And I guess they were glad to do it as was probably the only visible ...
