What happend with table EKPB

Dear Experties, is there any way to fullfill table EKPB ("Material Provided" Item in Purchasing Document), so that I can have component data from Material by PO subcontracting in transparent table EKPB. I found the number of entry of this table is always 0. Mean: the table did not copy data during t...

Re: Professionals could you Handel this please

Hi, let me try to help you out. If you are talking about a material with different characteristics, I would suggest you to use Batch Management, where you can define variant characteristic without maintain it in Material Master. All you need in Material Master is to activate the Batch Management but...

Re: MB1B (transfer storage location) issue

Hi,

is your business process make to stock (MtS) or make to order (MtO)? If MtO you can put the stock into special stock (E) by assigning it to your sales order.

Re: Editing Item Category for Purchasing

Oops .. pardon me,

I have realized that the "movement indicator" has nothing to do with item category. It has corelation only with "movement type" in account determination. Thank's.

Unfortunately, I couldn't locate the table where I can add/maintain the movement indicator. I've must assign additional item category to the table from account grouping V_156X_KO-KZBEW. Rega...

Editing Item Category for Purchasing

Dear all, I want to have another item category like L for subcontracting with different treatment. Can we add an item category in IMG? I have though, that it's impossible because of internal number 0-9 used by all item categories. But, is it allowed to change the setting of each configuration? Any r...

Re: Physical Inventory at subcontracting vendor loc

Hi,

I've often done this before. I do MI01 (PID) with special stock "O" (Stock provided to Vendor). Usually we enter the storage location if we adjust the qty in our own Plant. But in this case you only need to enter the Vendor number.

Differenciate Journal entry for Subcontracting

Hi Ha Tran, we have a problem, how to differenciate journal entry for subcontracting. Our business process in subcontracting is, that we do rework of our product to the third party vendor using PO with item category L (subcont). This only allowed us to post the entry to one G/L account number. If th...

Guys,

don't you ever think about "Valuation Class"? That is exactly what I used in my company to differentiate the categories you mentioned.

Dear evon, which methode did you use in PR Release Procedure? Is it with or without classification? If you used the Strategy with classification, make sure you define characteristics correctly. The characteristic group can be PR Creator, Plant or Company, and Material Group. Hope you get what I mean...

Have you ever tried to use T-Code HUMO (HU Monitor)? Besides its function to transfer Stock with HU, it's also useful as report. Only for current stock of course.

You can customize your own report for HU too, by using Query with tables: VEKP & VEPO.

Re: Release Strategy prerequisite

Dear Shaye,

Do you mean two Users with two different codes have to release one same PO or PR in the first phase? If so, you only need one code to assign to both of them. I used one Role Matrix, e.g. PO_Release_A to their authorization profile.
