Re: Departure country change in sales order

Hi, We have a tax calculation logic in place that is based on a set of tax rules. It's complex but eventually comes down as well to changing the tax departure country (and tax material classification etc.) in the sales order. You cannot specify a different tax departure country on item level. It is ...

Re: Change standard SAP fields/values using PERFORM

About the quantity:
You should be aware that the symbols you are returning to your form are text fields.
Therefore, make sure that you format the quantity field correctly before passing it back to your form.
Use CONDENSE or SHIFT <field> LEFT DELETING LEADING space.
This will left-justify your field.

Re: Delivery Order smartforms

You should check which output type is used in the delivery.
You can then assign the new smartform to this output type in customizing (check table TNAPR).

Once you have assigned your smartform to the relevant output type, you can create new output from VL02N.

Re: <New Line> character in Smartform

It seems a bit strange to me. I have never encountered problems with this.
Is your cell large enough to contain two lines?

And if you check the text using the text editor (i.e. click the icon with the notepad), is the text also split into two lines there?

Re: BADI MD_EXT_SUP

Is your enhancement active?

I did have some similar problems in the past, with a breakpoint not being hit in an enhancement. I could not find any reason why.
Deleteing everything and recreating the enhancement did the trick then, so perhaps you could give that a try.

Re: Problem calling subroutine from Script Form

Are there more active versions of your SAPScript, e.g. different languages?
If the form is active in different languages, then you might have to add this particular code in every language version of your SAPScript.

Re: Multiple columns in SAPScript (MEDRUCK)

I've seen this issue being tackled (in SAPScript) by creating 4 windows on the last page (as columns), and 4 corresponding standard texts.

Re: IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM edit idoc contents

Hi, What exactly do you want to change? Seems to me there are some possibilities to change the data -> the resulting data (invoice) that is. We have several userexits implemented. You should not expect your Idoc to be changed as that won't be the case. To do that you would need to adjust the program...

Re: Idoc WMCATO TO Cancellation

We use this idoc as well, and we have settings defined in transaction OMKY but it looks like these are general settings and not WMCATO specific ones.
You might need to fill the message code in WE20 so that it corresponds to the variant in OMKY in Interface Control.

Re: Inbound XML Idoc

I think the port type should be of type XML because IDOC_XML_FROM_FILE does not seem to accept any other port types. If I specify a standard file port I receive an error message. A correction to one of my previous messages though, and that is that program RSEINB00 can't be used as it can only handle...

Re: Inbound XML Idoc

Okay, I tested this to work as follows - Create an XML file port in WE21 (I just called it "XML") - Directory is /usr/sap/DEV/SYS/global (just for test purposes); function module has been left blank - outbound file name is "test" Then I picked a random outbound Idoc from WE02 and edited this through...

Re: Inbound XML Idoc

I think it is, I tried with an inbound file and I got it to be processed through function module IDOC_XML_FROM_FILE (although it failed, as I could not find a valid XML-file at the time). The error you describe below occurs immediately at the beginning of that function module and suggests that you m...

Re: Inbound XML Idoc

As far as I know, the function module field in WE21 is only there for the naming of outbound files. You don't specifically need it for the inbound purpose. As it is probably a mandatory field, just pick a function module from the list. Whether the XML-file can be processed automatically depends on t...

Re: Inbound XML Idoc

WE21 is indeed a bit confusing in this case, but if you specify an XML-port and fill the directoryname, you can also use it for inbound processing of IDocs in XML-format.
Check function modules EDI_DATA_INCOMING and IDOC_XML_FROM_FILE.
