Re: An Open Letter To The Chancellor Of The Exchequer .....

I think I might shed a tear of joy that even though nearly one year has passed since I was fired from my last SAP-related job, that I'm considered a regular. :D I'm working daily with Cognos 8.3 now, and I can say with a straight face that I actually miss ABAP.

Thanks!

I smell brimstone

Is the PoD an abaper? I searched for the keyword "hide" in the ABAP forum and got 666 hits. Surely it is the work of the dark lord himself.

I then waited for my keyboard to start bleeding or my monitor to catch fire as a result, but no such luck on a Friday. :(

In the Dynamic selections under 'Billing Document: Item Data' there is the option to specify a material.

If you do have a known history of social problems, your options will be limited. You may have no choice but to consider a career in Basis.

I'm just kidding!!!

Wow, HAT. The Geto Boys. It adds a nice touch to this thread.

Did you have those lyrics memorized? If so, I am officially afraid. Very afraid.

Half as fast, twice as quirky, but likely one-third the price:

Re: Default value in the Selection Screen of MMBE

Oh, how taxing it is to remember to click on a field every time you run something! I deal with this same request quite often - sorry for the commentary.

To answer your question, I do believe you're out of luck. It seems that value is hard-coded on line 53 of program RMMMBESTN.

Re: end of line symbol when exporting

First of all, you could read the rules for the GD forum. Not only was that oversight the kiss of death for your question, but secondly, your duplication of this question found here has all but assured you will be placed on double-secret probation. Tuly unfortunate. :|

If you don't use valuation type, as you say, then why do the original materials have valuation types? Or am I missing something?

I would love to have access to an AT-AT. My commute would be SO much more interesting.

Re: SAP TT (Service Support Desk)

Not that it's for sale at the moment, but I'd rather have the upcoming Audi TT-S than a first gen version of the standard TT. Europe will have it soon, but the USA has to wait until November.

You really think the first gen is the better? Just curious.

Re: How Get Job-name from ABAP ?

T-code SM37 might work for you. Put your program name in the Job Step field, but you need to know the username of the person who created the job.

Brand new, or just new to you? *edit* I suppose both could apply - I'm an idiot.

Re: Enhancement on MR11

Not that I'm Mr. ABAP, but making a Z copy of that program doesn't look too daunting. If you were going to go that route, I'd first do a Where-Used on the includes to see how far down the rabbit hole they go. It looks like the information in that report is gathered primarily via function modules. If...

Better still, I just ran that FM with the report name and variant, retrieved the material list, and dumped it into Excel.

Thank you, sir!
