Re: join tables BKPF-VBRK

If going from VBRK:
VBRK-VBELN = BKPF-AWKEY

If going from BKPF:
BKPF-AWTYP = 'VBRK'.
BKPF-AWKEY = VBRK-VBELN.

Re: Profit Center ****/8803 does not exist on <current date>

Check the profit center master data (t-code KE52 or KE53) to ensure that the analysis period is still valid...it could be that the profit center was only created to run until 31/12/2010

Re: query FS10N report

Personally, I'd say that if you are not familiar with ABAP Dictionary concepts and have even a rudimentary knowledge of ABAP, I'd resist the temptation to use SAP Query. Whilst SAP Query can seem an attractive and easy to use tool, it is also easy to abuse. A badly constructed query can bring your s...

The structure will be the field order that you have defined in the source structure.

Re: calendar used in CO planning

If the issue is with the assignment of the correct fiscal year variant, check the controlling area settings in t-code OKKP.

If the issue is that 2011 is locked for posting, check the settings in IMG->Controlling->Profitability Analysis->Planning->Initial Steps->Maintain Versions

GLPLUP using period based template (RESOLVED)

Thanks for the response Darkduck. I hadn't changed the header record. I could not get it to work if I saved the file generated by SAP (via GLPLADM) and then tried to uploaded it straight back into SAP (via GLPLUP). I think the problem was with using a csv format. I now managed to get this to work by...

GLPLUP using period based template (RESOLVED)

Hi, we are in ECC 6.0 and I am trying to upload budgets using Excel but I cannot get the system to recognise the period parameter... In GLPLI, I have created a planning layout against summary table GLT0 where there is GL account and then 13 columns to represent each period (we have a 13 period fisca...

Re: Catch Up Depreciation

Hi Lesley, have you set the two IMG parameters? In SPRO, "specify transfer date/last closed fiscal year" needs to be set to the first day of take-on. "specify last period posted in previous system" needs to be set to the period prior to the take-on. These are under "asset data transfer->parameters f...

Re: Report Painter: Specify currency at report execution

Hi Sonja, you can do it but it gets confusing. If you want to do it, you need to create two variables (t-code GS11), use these on the selection screen and for checking the columns. You need a variable for each currency type and for each column you want on the report, you need two in the layout - one...

Re: FTXP - Valid from date?

Hi Lesley, this now has me stumped. Currently, I'm in ECC6 and only work with US entities. For FTXP, if I enter US as the country, I get validity dates. If I chose another country (e.g. Germany or Great Britain), I do not have the option to enter a valid from date. I am not sure if this is because I...

Re: FTXP - Valid from date?

When you go into the transaction, the initial screen is for the selection of country. The second screen enables you to enter tax code, tax jurisdiction and valid from.

I am currently using ECC6 but remember this to also be the case with 4.7c

Re: FTXP - Valid from date?

Hi, I'm not sure I'm understanding you question. In FTXP, one of the parameters you enter is the "Valid From" date. This can be anytime from entry date to a date in the future. Are you just asking if you can future date? If so, yes (see above). Or, are you saying you set up a future date and when it...

Re: Report Writer GRR1/GS11. CCA report

Hi, just to be clear, on the selection screen, there would only be one selection variant required, ZRTPER, not 12, and that would be used to determine the period to split which actuals/plan values appearing. In GS11, create a new value variable called ZRTPER that is associated with Period. In GS11, ...

Re: Report Writer GRR1/GS11. CCA report

There are two ways to tackle this... If you are creating forecasts on a regular basis (i.e. every quarter the reporting requirement is that periods upto that date are actual and the rest of the year is budget) then I would look into versions. Each quarter you could use KP97 and KP98 to create a new ...

Re: CO Report Needed

I don't know of anything that is as you describe but this should be as no surprise. Generally standard SAP comes with good, fairly basic, generic reporting and so should be treated as a suite of templates and examples rather than meeting everyone reporting needs. Look at report painter/report writer...
