since it seems you are comfortable with Microsoft technologies, I would strongly suggest looking at Microsoft BizTalk Server. I have used the product and I feel that you can reuse a lot of components you have already developed in VB/ASP/C# etc. You would also find the development tools very familiar...

No, you cannot see SAP in the browser through WAS610/620/630.

You still need ITS to see SAP transactions in the IE browser because the SAP support has not been migrated to WAS610.

However, WAS has a lot of good support for BSPs which do not require ITS.

what version of IE are you using ?

the portal has IE browser dependencies!

Try IE 5.5 SP2. This version is very stable and supported on portals.

i am certified in SAP Portals and i also attended the training.

the training was kind of useful to learn stuff but definitely useful for the certification exam.

there were questions in the exam that were quite obscure and only learnt through the classroom training...

are you using the SAP Portals ? are you using WAS 610/620 ? For WAS, you could use BSPs. The web-guy can do the layout the abap-guy can write queries to get data... For portals, you need more expertise because iviews need java knowledge. you can use JCo to call RFMs (written by the abap-guy) from th...
