Re: Please help me find a free pilot candidate - SAP BO BI mobil

In a worldwide forum, you might consider giving us indications on what part of the world your candidate should be located, unless you are ready to travel for free on top.

IF Central Europe, I might be interested.

Re: Cognos BI and SAP BW - Data transfers to Cognos BI

Ask Cognos for a quote about the connector they have, that allows them to extract data directly out of SAP BI.

:D Another wish for a dream to come through ? There exist no such function (this is very specific !), but the calculation is less than 5 lines in total, so just look at any internet site showing the calculation and reproduce it in abap (in addition, straight calculation in abap will be faster than f...

Re: where to store historic data

I had a second look at the question when I noticed that the poster is Snowy, an experienced basis consultant. He speaks about "archiving" data out of some external systems, this is not a pure R3 demand. I share the general feeling that BW should not be replacing a proper archiving solution, even if ...

Re: distance and geocoding

Your question is not totally clear ; you want to enter a type of object, or an instance of an object ? ie do you want to have all postal codes within 5km from any railroad, or within 5km of a certain railroad ? Let's take the easiest : everyting within 5 km of a certain railroad. Well, that's alread...

Re: Extractions

sapfanscom, best thing you have to do is to be honest about your actual level of experience during your interview. If you actually know the basics, then the rest is just learning "on the job". To answer your interview question : in LO (which by the way is a generic term that covers several modules o...

Re: No "Assign Data Source" button! How to continue.

Since you mention 4.6 and 6, which I tend to believe refers to SAP (ERP) R3 4.6 and SAP (ERP) E...

Re: Interesting problem with result rows in BEx

In the "calculation" part of your formula, there is a section called "calculation direction" ; check out what this means, it is most probably the solution you are looking for.
[here, specifying that you are using BI7 or BI3 would have helped us to be more detailed]

'hope this helps
