Re: Group Assets Use?

When using Group Assets depreciation is calculated at the Group level - no individual asset depreciation. Assets are all in the same asset class.

You may want to look at Asset Super Number to use for reporting purposes.

If you want to maintain the original cost element you should use Distributions (KSV1). Choose "fixed percentages" for the erceiver rule.

The table is COBRB and it is linked by the object number (PRPS). If you want the settlement cost centre use KOSTL.

Re: WIP calculation = Actual Cost + % on actual cost

You could try applying overhead to the WBS' using costing sheets. Config is under Project System>Cost>Automatic and Periodic Allocations>Overhead.

Re: Capitalisation of assets in local ledger but not in IFRS

I assume the cost will be expense in the IFRS ledger? If so, you require 2 depreciation areas - one for local, one for IFRS. On acquisition of the asset (for example transaction ABZO), edit "line items" and enter a value of zero in the IFRS depreciation area. The acquisition transaction wi...

Re: KO01 assign cost element to internal order (IO)

I don't know if there is a way to do what you are asking but you can create a validation rule to ensure the order can only be posted with the correct cost element (OB28).

Re: Asset Posting Error" Acquisition value negative in area 01"

Why is the user not using the asset transfer transaction (ABUMN)? Also - the posting date is critical when transferring - it must be later than the posting date of the original acquisition.
