hiring action conflicts with dynamic action

Hello everyone, we are having a conflict between a dynamic action and the info group of a regular action (infotype 0000). When we start a hiring action, the corresponding info group is launched and processes a series of other infotypes, including e.g. infotype 8. Part of this info group is also info...

Does FM HR_CHECK_AUTHORITY_INFTY include structural auth.?

Hello everyone, I understand FM HR_CHECK_AUTHORITY_INFTY is suitable for checking HR authorizations (which work quite different from regular authorizations). What I need to know is whether this FM also covers the aspect of structural authorization. In other words, is it superfluous also to call FM R...

Re: Problem with setting up a dynamic action

Thx for nothing; I eventually found the solution myself. The comparison works when I change P2001-KALTG>'3' into P2001-KALTG>'3.00', seeing that P2001-KALTG is a decimal field with two decimal places.

Problem with setting up a dynamic action

Hello everyone, I am having trouble with a P-clause in a dynamic action. I am trying to create an infotype 19 whenever an infotype 2001 (absences) is created whose duration P2001-KALTG exceeds 3 days. Here is what I have tried: 2001 0210 02 87 P P2001-KALTG>'3' 2001 0210 02 88 P T001P-WERKS='Z001' 2...

ABAP code that cannot do any INSERTs or DELETEs?!?

Hello everyone, I am working with a custom FM that someone else wrote. I cannot precisely tell how this FM is being called. No usage references to anything are displayed for this FM, but I can tell that it is being called after a document has been archived. Chances are some RFC from the external arc...

Re: Workflow reaction to the key object instance being deleted

Well, what I have done now is that I added a flow control block after the waiting block. This flow control block logically cancels the whole workflow when the event "DELETED" has been triggered. Works nicely.

Thank you for your help! I do not think I would have got this far without it.

Re: Workflow reaction to the key object instance being deleted

I start the workflow using a ZREISEANTR-event, but that does not mean much, seeing that I create this event manually using a FM in my coding. However, when it comes to a deleted trip, it is not my own coding that triggers the event, but the coding of transaction PR05, which is SAP standard code and ...

Re: Workflow reaction to the key object instance being deleted

Your idea is great, and indeed transaction SWEL (event trace) reveals that a DELETED-event is created when a trip is deleted. However, when trying to use this event in my workflow I am running into a technical problem. The standard business object type for trips is BUS2089. I wanted to use it in my ...

Workflow reaction to the key object instance being deleted

Hello everyone, so I created a workflow that works with trips that are to be approved. A trip is created, then my workflow offers the trip to a responsible person for approval, then processes the result. (Please note that trips are only an example. This is a problem that applies to all sorts of obje...

Re: Using a pre-defined filter in a SLIS-ALV

Thank you!

The documentation of the IT_FILTER parameter states that this parameter should never be filled manually. However, it fails to explain exactly how I can obtain automatically-generated values for it. Is there another FM that returns the IT_FILTER values for a given variant?

Using a pre-defined filter in a SLIS-ALV

Hello everyone, I am using the REUSE...-FB to display an ALV. Now I want the ALV to come up with a default filter that I set in my ABAP code. However, I fail to find any way either to pass predefined filter criteria to the FM (where should I put them?) or to have the FM display the ALV using a prede...

Re: image with white background going gray

Now, even 4 years later, the issue persists. Reducing color depth to 256 colors improved it, but the background still is not perfectly white. In the printout there are still small visible dots indicating a slight shading of the background.

Re: Canceling a workflow step so it remains in the user inbox

I finally managed to find the answer myself.

In the method of the BOR-object that calls the FM you need to call the macro EXIT_CANCELLED.

Thanks for nothing :(
