Re: Dynamically set MM02 fields to R/O [Resolved]

May be resolved now.

Created and enhancement inplementaion against BADI_MAT_F_SPEC_SEL. Method IF_EX_BADI_MAT_F_SPEC_SEL~FIELD_SELECTION can be used to change selected fields to R/O.

Just testing now to see if this works across tabs as well, but it should do.

Selection field groups. How can they be used? [Resolved]

Ideally I would like to use a selection field group, but I have several questions around these. 1). Can they be used for anythhing OTHER than a change of Material type, specific plant, or based on a user authorisation?. 2). Can these field groupos be used to cover fields across multiple tabs for MM0...

Dynamically set MM02 fields to R/O [Resolved]

We feed some materials into SAP via a PIM (Product information management) system. So materials are passed form the PIM through BODS to SAP and either updated or created. The specific materials that are maintained through the PIM need to be protected from having their content overwritten when in tra...

View the code in a method for an interface.

How does one actually view the code of a method belonging to an interface?. I can see the method via SE18/24 when enter my BADI name, ending in "_IF", but do not seem to be able view the code in the method associated with the interface. I've encountered this before, although many years back, so how ...

Re: Line 'entity ?= current' is failing

Looks like the user had used the wizard to add new fields, but, the wizard had inserted new code into the INIT method, and it was this that was causing grief. Once remarked out all was then okay.

Line 'entity ?= current' is failing [RESOLVED]

Guys, We have some code in a get_i_formul method (entity ?= current) which is failing, in that the entity remains INITIAL altough current does have a value. DATA: current TYPE REF TO if_bol_bo_property_access. rv_disabled = 'TRUE'. if iterator is bound. current = iterator->get_current( ). else. curr...

Does anyone have a SAP SRM book to sell?.

Hi guys, I've just been pulled into an SRM project to add extra details to the shopping cart screens. I'm a CRM person by trade, and so SRM is slightly different to me, and was therefore wondering if anyone has the "Enhancing Supplier Relationship Management Using SAP SRM" book they may want to sell...

Re: What were the worst IT Projects?

I've been lucky with projects, I guess. Only had one closed down (Bose), but that was caused by the recession hitting hard, and we actually completed the CRM section anyway. The worst project was one based up in the north of England, I will not say who as they read these postings, but the management...

How times have changed...

I watched "Miracle on 34th Street" the other day, with the Mrs and the little ones. She kept pointing out to me how non-white everyones teeth were in the film. We have been so conditioned nowadays and expect EVERYONE in film nowadays to have pearly whiter than white teeth. In contrast, we later watc...

The effects of raising a MESSAGE of type "E"

We need to replace an Error message in a Financial program. The client is concerned that we may process duplicate records if we replace the error message with warning message, followed by a LEAVE PROGRAM command. The error message is currently raised when there is nothing to be posted as teh records...

Warship (Black Fleet Trilogy, Book 1) by Joshua Dalzelle.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I purchased as it sounded interesting, and I no more books to read. However, I was surprised as how good the book was. Would recommend to the Sci-fi readers.

Throttling BW?

Is it possible to control/throttle BW process chains or general BW processing?. For example, I would like to be able to control (without making changes to the Process chains) that all available BW processes would only utilised 40% of available processing (bakcground sessions). I know I can sort of d...
