Automating assembly order

Hello, Is it possible to triger and realize a sales kit assembly, thus a kind of production order, on one-by-one basis every time when a client shows at the sales counter? It would be expected to have no, or minimum, keyboard SAP activity beyond sales order and delivery creation. In SD only the choi...

Sales kit

Hello, My requirement is half way between LUMF and ERLA behaviour in sales order from BOM and pricing perspective. The context is public sector so no sales pricing other than cost price. Once a year I have to campaign-based sell at a fixed price over the counter hundreds of "kits" composed of a doze...

Re: GI from vendor consignment with delivery to customer

Hi again, Many views (thanks) but no reaction. I close the topic. It works now. The outbound delivery used in my testing had somehow. I guess only, grabbed IMG setting not yet completely achieved at its creation. Hence all my subsequent attempts to GI out of it have failed. When used, a brand new ou...

GI from vendor consignment with delivery to customer

Hi, I have some difficulty with goods issue from vendor consignment directly to customer (mvmt 601k). Of course I did follow the recommendations from the SNote 607604 and have completed the missing IMG settings. But I still receive the message stating that there is no inventory available. One import...

S/4 Hana

Hi, This question might be addressed to these forums administrators or moderators but I do not know how to reach them. Thus I am here to ask what follows. Where, if at all, can I follow up or participate in the exchange between members concerned by S/4 issues, rather functionnal than purely technica...

Subcontracting within the same Group

Hi, I ask deliberately this question on Logistic MM discussion stream as SAP SE always presents subontracting of a production order only as an outgoing process. But while operating within the same group of companies, we can also receive as a manufacturing site such components from our "brother clien...

Dump while creating service order

We are implementing service order creation (PM) out of sales contract (SD) where we use a configurable material. We have allowed delivery so the OS with components is created at the same time as sales document with it's BOM. If by a mischance one of the materials to be used is not yet created in the...

Classic SAP consultant in HANA world

Hello, Maybe this is the right place to ask questions about HANA buzz? After nearly 20 years of various SAP exposure, including periods of intensive hands-on on several modules but Abap, I wander what will HANA sooner or later arrving in a more massive manner into the market mean to me: 1. Will ECC ...

Re: Ha Tran

Hi Ha, Thanks for your reaction. In fact the process concerned is not just limited to procurement returns. The issue is more complex (intercompany customer service repair with/without actual return to production unit of replaced parts). Thus any straightforward and default values would allow conceiv...

Re: Pricing scale by Total Gross Weight on Shipment

Hi, Although I am not so acute expert in shipping functionalities in SAP I might try to point out a hint. If, by chance, you have already checked what is possibe without managing handling unit (there is no comment on that whatsoever, though surprising for air forwarding) then my question would be: D...

PR release header or item dynamic

Hi, I wonder how to set purchase requsition release strategies so that the system selects either header or item level depending on the number of items in PR? Business rationale is that releasing item by item is conceivable unless the number of items is not excessively high. Otherwise a global releas...

Default return item

Hi,

How can I efficiently default "Checked" box value at EKPO-RETPO?
My need is to have (some) POs to be return to vendor orders.
I do not have the impression that playing around with ME21N screen layout is the answer.
Anything else?

Outgoing IDoc for PO

Hi (again after quite a while), Due to pricing considerations in Interco ALE communication context I need to push original SO number and item line of Interco Customer company via its own linked PO which is creating SO in Interco Vendor company. I use ORDERS05 and have a difficulty to identify the ri...

Re: WM <> MM Structure

Hi, First of all let me tell you that I always try to make a difference between what is (or not) technicaly possible and what business wise seems logical. I always start by the latter and very often do not even ask myself the first question. Especially that I do not always know the answer to the for...

Re: WM <> MM Structure

Hi,
Take it word by word:
1. plant level relation is 1 plant = N storage locations and 1 plant = 1 warehouse
2. company level relation is 1 company = N plants and (possibly, if needed) X warehouses but only 1 plant = (via storage location) 1 warehouse
