Universal, generic IDoc to replicate Z-tables

Hello experts, I'm looking for solution to replicate many own tables with IDocs. The standard way is to create segment and IDoc type separate for every table. My question, is there more generic approach possible? For example some kind of universal IDoc type which could be used to replicate various t...

Purchase Order: Exit to set default long text

Hi, I'm looking for user exit/BAdi/customizing to set a default content of the long text field by creation of purchase order (header area). I know, there is a possibility to customize a copy functionality of long text from other documents but I need it also for purchase orders without reference. Cou...

Re: Dynamic Tables with CL_ALV_TABLE_CREATE all fields C(4)

Hello ldittmer62, You are asking about length and type but I can't find any settings for them in your coding. You can set length with attribute OUTPUTLEN: clear ls_fieldcat. ls_fieldcat-col_pos = 1. ls_fieldcat-fieldname = 'WERK'. ls_fieldcat-rollname = 'ZWERT'. ls_fieldcat-outputlen = '16'. append ...

Re: Commit work

I've done a quick test and in our system SUBMIT ... AND RETURN does an implicit commit.
Thats strange, there is no info about it in online documentation.

The question doesn't compile for me, it has a syntax error :-)
I've tried to do my best from it.

Re: CL_SALV_TABLE hotspot

Hi Stan, This coding should do what you are looking for: DATA: lo_columns TYPE REF TO cl_salv_columns, lo_column TYPE REF TO cl_salv_column_list. lo_columns = go_table->get_columns( ). lo_column ?= lo_columns->get_column( 'YOUR_COLUMN_WITH_LINK' ). * the new type is set but me->r_controller->set_cha...

Hi Boomer,

which way are you producing you spreadsheet? Automatically or manually (copy & paste)?
If it Excel, are you writing your output to the CSV file or XLS file?

Re: Calling a function in background task in an update BADI

Hi, I've just had a similar case: during posting in system A I have to check something in system B. The check should occur in User-Exit or BAdI, it means the transaction in system A is not commited yet and the check must not cause commit or rollback. The other requirement is I don't want to replicat...

editable alv grid - getting edited values back

Hi,

I've developed a small program which helps to trace all events in CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
Have a look here: http://www.kerum.pl/infodepot/00006
After click on custom button the PAI is trigged and you can place your reaction there.
Is it satisfying solution?

Archive customer development with SARA

we would like to archive our old, not used development so it doesn't occupy db, disturb where-used lists, etc. It would be nice to have a possibility to recall such programs in some kind of read-only mode. Is there a possibility to archive development with trans. SARA or something similar? I haven't...

Re: ALV object model: how to reference a not global internal tab

Hi Antonio, I also prefer to use local variables and it's sometimes difficult in a scenario with screens or event handlers. But the class of event handler, which must be global, can be useful to store references on your local variables or internal tables. Here you can find a complete example: http:/...
